DESCRIPTION: These reports document surcharge collections for building permits. These funds are used for training, education, and exam preparation for building inspectors. Compliance agencies are required to submit these reports to the Department of Commerce, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing on a quarterly basis (UCA_58-56-9(3)(b) (1991)). The division uses this information to determine the amount of funds being collected in order to ascertain the amount of money that can be expended for training. Information includes name, contact person of compliance agency, surcharge compilations, signatures, position information, and preparation date.
