DESCRIPTION: These applications are completed by persons seeking permits to engage in the business of emptying, or cleaning any vault, privy, septic tank, cesspool or grease trap, automobile salvage, by-product disposal, and recycling. The records include both the vehicle and operator applications. They include company's name, address, telephone number, responsible person's name, indication of type of permit requested (scavenger or salvage vehicle permit, or salvage operator permit/type of operation, or both), vehicles (license number, make/year, capacity, general description, applicant's signature, title, and date.
