DESCRIPTION: These records contain copies of an employee's participation in required training. A record of training is mandated by statute and for law enforcement purposes. Park rangers are required to maintain peace officer certification. The total number of training hours for employees is maintained by Peace Officer Standards and Training for verification of yearly certification. Non-law enforcement employee records are included in these files. Information may include Social Security number, employee identification number, and/or federal employer identification numbers.
