DESCRIPTION: As part of its duty to oversee the U.S._Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs for which it is responsible, Child Nutrition Programs must provide for periodic audits of local providers which receive funds under the USDA programs. These reports are prepared by independent auditing firms and include a summary of the findings, including identification of any noncompliance on the part of the provider. If noncompliance is found, correspondence concerning this noncompliance will be included, as will decisions of any appeal.
