44 CFR 205.115 indicates that all documentation relating to funding of FEMA projects be maintained for three years for audit purposes. However, these correspondence files possess exceptionally rich administrative and research value into the manner in which Utah has dealt with disasters and, thereore, warrant a permanent retention.
