DESCRIPTION: These records document the position classification grievance process described in Utah Code 67-19-31 (2008). After a career service position has been assigned to a new class specification, the employee may grieve the determination to the classification grievance panel. The panel then hears the grievance, reviews applicable records, and makes a recommendation to the executive director of the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM). The executive director then makes a decision, which may be appealed by either party. Records may include grievance submissions, original analyst's recommendation, the panel's recommendation, the executive director's decision, and related records.
