DESCRIPTION: These records provide summarized information regarding chemical inventories filed by Utah companies. They provide information on any emissions to the environment. The files may contain material safety data sheets, Tier I and II inventory forms, chemical release inventory forms (EPA FORM R), and correspondence. The information contained in the file includes the name of the company, chemical names, amounts and locations where the chemicals are located, hazards, and emissions information. The series is retained to meet the requirements of 40 CFR 370 - Hazardous Chemical Reports: Community Right-To-Know.
