DESCRIPTION: These are audit reports prepared by external auditors (federal, state, legislative or other). In the case of state audits, this fiscal report is made at least annually and filed with the state auditor within six months of the close of the fiscal year of the entity (UCA 51-2a-202(1)(a)(b)). If receiving federal funding, the audit shall be performed in accordance with both federal and state auditing requirements (UCA 51-2-202(2)). These audit reports shall be filed and preserved and be open to inspection.
