DESCRIPTION: These are source files of landfills inspected for asbestos disposal compliance. Any landfill that accepts Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) is required to conform to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants(40 CFR 63.112(2004)). The State Division of Air Quality regulates ACM landfills throughout Utah to be sure that they are in compliance with the established standards. Documents kept in these files include approval letters, inspections, enforcement actions, and general correspondence.
