DESCRIPTION: The Medical Executive Committee Leadership Group is charged with oversight of the care, treatment, and services provided by the medical staff, including practitioners with privileges. Minutes document discussions of proposed revisions to the Medical Staff Bylaws and updates to hospital policies and procedures, as well as discussions about applicants for medical staff membership and/or clinical privileges. In addition to the approved minutes, records include recommendations from the Performance Improvement Council, meeting agendas, and all supplemental materials used for discussion, which may contain patient medical information.
