DESCRIPTION: These records document the activities of the Pioneer Care Center's Board of Directors. In 1963, the Board of Directors was organized as the governing board of the Pioneer Memorial Care Center. In 1980, the Box Elder County Commission took direct control of the center and the board became strictly advisory. The files include copies of the original and corrected bylaws; related correspondence; certified mail receipts; member orientation information; description of the responsibilities of the Board of Directors; and lists of board members.
