DESCRIPTION: These are reviews conducted by the federal government of the WIC program as required by 7 CFR 246.19. The purpose of the review is to assess the accomplishments of the program and to determine if the state is meeting its responsibilities. The review includes both the state and a sampling of local health districts. The reviews also include evaluation on vendor monitoring, certification, and program availability.
