DESCRIPTION: This series contains records documenting interpretations, normal and abnormal tracings or graphs which represents electric currents generated by the contractions of the heart muscle as it works. This record is used in the diagnosis of abnormal heart action. This series includes the tracings, diagnosis, an interpretation, name of the referring physician, clinical syndrome, facility where the electrocardiogram (EKG) was given, rhythm, wave readings, and date.
