DESCRIPTION: This system verifies that the actual dollar amount on each warrant is correct and authorizes payment and generation of each. Almost every state agency shares information on this database. The online file is a random access file. In 1981, the Job Control Language was transferred from punched cards to online instructions. The editing of data was transferred to the input stage of data flow in 1982 to expedite the processing. The WANG VS and IBM MVS 3 systems are the hardware systems. This record includes records series 8464-8479.
